Guilty plea rendered on one of several bad-check charges
LIBERTY – Joshua Edward McCoy, 31, Excelsior Springs, pleaded guilty May 6 before Clay County Judge Tim Flook to one of several bad-check and other charges.
“All the other cases remain,” Assistant Prosecutor Zachary McCoy said Wednesday.
McCoy admitted to felony stealing by deceit. Flook ordered a Sentencing Assessment Report from Missouri Probation and Parole leading up to McCoy standing before the court Aug. 12.
