Justice center planning effort launched
After years of discussions about overcrowding, aging infrastructure and rising repair costs, Clay County commissioners have launched a formal effort to evaluate the future of the justice center and jail operations.Commissioners unanimously approved the creation of a Justice Center Planning Committee during a recent meeting following earlier discussions about the county’s detention and court-related facilities.
