On Feb. 3, another winning streak in Orrick varsity boys basketball ended. That night, the Bearcats fell to Lone Jack 61-34 in I-70 Conference play. The road loss followed wins over Hardin-Central Jan. 27, Crest Ridge Jan. 31 and Santa Fe Feb. 2. Orrick, however, responded to the loss by cruising past Sweet Springs 76-41 Tuesday. The conference victory was the last of three straight road games for the Bearcats, who return home to face Wellington-Napoleon Friday night and begin a three-game homestand.
