PEO Chapter CJ met Aug. 10 at Barbee Memorial Presbyterian Church.

President Jinx Fisher conducted the meeting for 14 PEO members; one initiate, Sandra Hollis; and one guest, Tina Usher. Members present included Patricia Harms, Sharon Senger, Diane Carder, Delores Wharton, Jinx Fisher, Marsha Sherwood, Connie Couts, Becky Griffin, Sue Farrow, Janice Hennings, Pam Uogler, Debra Napier, Rose McCay and Ruth Hartwig.

Delicious apple cake and ice cream were served, including an apple candy treat for everyone to take home. A game of “empty your purse” led to little donation assessments for Chapter CJ treasury.

Hartwig and Wharton presented an informative program on Missouri PEO Outreach, where more than $2 million has helped members and non-members in need.
