EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The Excelsior Springs Post Office will collect food for community members in need Saturday, acting Officer in Charge Kat Bollinger said Monday. “We’re not supplying bags this year,” Bollinger said. “If they can just put their bags out by the mailbox, we’ll gladly pick them up.” Postal carriers will get the donated food to a place that can provide distribution, she said. “We have always supported Meet The Need here in town,” Bollinger said. “It helps … around Excelsior in supplying food in their pantry.” Meet The Need, 1302 N.
