Scholarship opportunity available
Platte-Clay Electric Cooperative (PCEC) is accepting applications for its annual spring scholarship opportunities. Three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to local undergraduate students pursuing a degree in the electric power industry. A winner will be selected from each of PCEC’s three service districts.
The scholarship opportunity is available to students who are ages 16-25 and have been accepted or enrolled in a two or four year college or vocational school and are actively pursuing a career in the electric industry.
With the industry in high demand, compensation and job security is at an alltime high, with a wide variety of positions available, including but not limited to lineman and engineers.
