For the second straight season, Excelsior Springs will open its varsity volleyball season against Oak Park.

The Tigers are slated to face the Kansas City-based school Sept. 2 at Excelsior Springs. Oak Park swept the 2024 meeting 3-0 at Oak Park.

Here’s a look at the Excelsior Springs girls entering that rematch … Head coach and bio: Cindy Price enters her second year of leading the program. Her other coaching experience includes serving as head track and field coach 2009-14 and a season of coaching boys tennis at Savannah, she stated.

Coaching staff: Terri Irons, Lanie Hurt and Trinaty Jeffers will assist Price. Hurt also will serve as junior varsity coach and Jeffers will lead the C team.
