Sharon Ruth Mahoney, 77, Excelsior Springs, passed away Thursday, Oct. 29, 2020.

Sharon was born Oct. 9, 1943, to Melvin and Ruth (Green) Tiemann. Sharon enjoyed music and playing the organ. Sharon was of the Lutheran faith. She was also a Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoyed traveling and camping. Sharon retired from Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Glenn Rogers and Louis Mahoney; brother, Larry Tiemann; and sister, Barbara Norwat.

She is survived by her children and spouses, Timmothy and Diane Rogers, Rachel and Mark McKee; brother, Melvin Tiemann; four grandchildren, T.J. Rogers, Felicia Eaton, Ashley Fox and Samantha McKee.

Visitation will be held 10-11a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs, with a graveside service following at Old Union Cemetery, Lawson. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Excelsior Springs.
