Marjorie Jean Lana, 92, of Excelsior Springs, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2020.

Marjorie was born Oct. 6, 1928, in Richmond to Franklin Littleton Sr. and Irene (Davidson) Littleton.

Marjorie was married to Robert E. Lana Sr. June 15, 1947, in Paola, Kansas.

Marjorie worked as a nurse’s aide for Shirkey Nursing and Rehab Center in Richmond for many years.

Marjorie is survived by her son, Richard W. Lana of Polo; daughter, Deborah E. Cox of Stockton; brother, Marvis Atkins of North Kansas City; sister, Shelia Howard of Manhattan, Kansas; and brother, Dov Shapiro of Kansas City. She also has five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lana Sr.; infant sons, Robert Lana Jr. and John Ray Lana; sister, Dorothy (Littleton) Backues; brother, Frank Littleton Jr.; father, Franklin Littleton Sr.; and mother, Irene (Davidson) Littleton.

Reflections Memorial Services is in charge of the services. Interment will be at a date to be determined at the Higginsville Veterans Cemetery.
