Brendon Lee Heathman-Summers
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Brendon Lee Heathman-Summers, 23, of Excelsior Springs. Brendon passed away April 15, 2021, at his home in Orrick.
Brendon was born on Friday, July 25, 1997, in Leavenworth, Kansas, to Crystal Underwood and the late Timothy Heathman. He was later adopted by George and the late Kimberly Summers.
Brendon resided for most of his short life in Excelsior Springs, where he attended school and began to build his family. He had one daughter, Brylee Joyce Heathman. She was the light of his life. He loved to spend time with her playing outside, going for rides and teaching her how to work on a car. Brendon was always up to something, whether it was going for a walk, playing ball, showing off his rap skills or giving you a bit of his wit. He knew how to keep someone on their toes.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, and friends were a big part of his life, too. He had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back if he needed to. Brendon was always the life of the party.
He enjoyed going to the lake, being outdoors, listening to music, wearing his white Tees and his beloved dog, Jazzy J. Heathman. His favorite sports team was the Chicago Bulls. His contagious smile, fierce spirit and big heart will be greatly missed by all.
