PCEC sponsors chamber luncheon
Platte Clay Electric Cooperative (PCEC) shared new initiatives and programs during this month’s Excelsior Springs Chamber of Commerce networking luncheon. As a sponsor, PCEC provided lunch at Willow Springs Mercantile.
PCEC’s Communications and Marketing Manager Jennifer Grossl announced the latest innovation through PCEC — an updated outage map which can be found on their website. With the recent uptick in severe weather threats in the region, Grossl said during an outage “the best place to check is online in real time.” In addition to the outage maps, PCEC now offers members energy- efficient services, products and programs. Grossl said livestock floaters are one of the many energy-efficient products offered to consumers, along with electric water heaters and whole home surge protection.
She explained those with horses or cattle would no longer struggle to break the ice on their stock tanks in the winter months.
