Lawson woman facing stalking charges

A Lawson woman has been arrested after a warrant was issued out of Caldwell County. Hazel M. Ingerson, 19, is facing three felony charges, including two counts of first-degree stalking and second-offense violation of an order of protection for an adult. The warrant, swiftly issued last week by 43rd Judicial Circuit Court Judge Jason A. Kanoy, was promptly served just one day later. Ingerson is currently in the custody of the Caldwell County Detention Center with a bond of $25,000 cash only. Special conditions upon release include bond supervision by Supervision Services and no contact with the victim. She appeared for her initial appearance this week, but information was not made available by press time. On June 1, the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) deputies were alerted to a potential threat.
