Excelsior Springs varsity girls basketball coach JD Biermann and his Tigers can start looking to the 2025 portion of their schedule.The Tigers wrapped 2024 with two recent games – a 48-38 Dec. 19 home loss to Van Horn of Independence and 53-43 defeat to Mount Vernon Dec. 21 at Hy-Vee Arena in Kansas City.Turnovers hurt Excelsior Springs against Van Horn. The Tigers committed 21 turnovers, with the Falcons scoring 17 points off those turnovers. By contrast, Van Horn committed 14 turnovers, with Excelsior Springs scoring four points off those turnovers.But Excelsior Springs took care of the ball enough to stay within single digits for the first half.
