CCSO urges community support in ‘feel-good mission’

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is excited to invite the community to participate in a heartwarming initiative aimed at spreading joy and love.As part of this ‘feel-good mission,’ CCSO is collecting both handmade and store-bought Valentine’s cards. These cards will be distributed to local nursing homes and assisted living facilities throughout Clay County.“This Valentine’s Day, we’re calling in back-up and we’re counting on you,” said CCSO Public Relations Manager Sarah Boyd. “Help Clay County deputies deliver smiles to our local seniors. Whether you are part of a school, daycare, business, church or just a kindhearted individual, we want you to participate by making or bringing a card to a senior. Small acts equal big smiles.”The deadline to drop off cards is Feb. 3.
