Three years after allegations of sexual assault were reported, an Excelsior Springs man has been arrested and is facing four felony charges.Michael A. Watson, 25, has been charged with four felonies, including two counts of first-degree statutory rape or attempted statutory rape, person less than 14 years of age; statutory rape or attempted statutory, deviate sexual intercourse, person less than 14 years of age; and tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution.Watson recently appeared before Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Lori J. Baskins, where he entered a plea of not guilty and requested a bond reduction.
