An Excelsior Springs alum has become a three-time college All-American wrestler.DamonAshworth, a 2021 graduate and redshirt junior at the University of Central Missouri, secured his latest All-American honor by placing fourth in the 184-pound division recently at the NCAA Division II national tournament. He qualified for the competition by placing second in a Division II super regional tournament held March 1-2 in Warrensburg.Ashworth opened nationals by defeating Andrew Reed of Newberry (S.C.) College by a 12-5 decision. A loss by major decision to Glenville (W.Va.)
