Hospital, SAFE partnership boosts tobacco cessation
A locally led initiative to help Excelsior Springs residents quit smoking and vaping will begin rolling out next year as Excelsior Springs Substance Abuse Free Environments (SAFE) and Excelsior Springs Hospital (ESH)prepare to launch the Dimensions Tobacco Free Program. The effort brings a structured, evidence-based approach to cessation that those involved hope will make support more accessible for people at any stage of their quitting process.The program offers practical tools, guided sessions and community support rooted in research.
