For three Excelsior Springs firefighters, earning a badge represented the culmination of a year defined by training, growth and accountability and the beginning of a deeper responsibility to the community they serve.The Excelsior Springs Fire Department (ESFD) recently held a formal badge pinning ceremony recognizing Firefighter and Paramedic Camden Dickey, Firefighter and EMT Joseph Cherco and Firefighter and EMT Emily Rice following the successful completion of their probationary periods.
