Excelsior Springs High School officials reported measurable gains in student attendance, credit completion and classroom engagement as targeted academic programs and instructional changes continue to reshape the way students are supported.High school leaders reported significant academic and attendance gains tied to the Tiger Success Academy (TSA), a targeted program designed to support students who struggle in traditional classroom settings. Principal Dr. Laura Hartman noted TSA serves as an alternative learning environment and houses the Missouri Options Program, the Flexible Learning Experience (FLEX) program and other individualized learning models that provide targeted academic support and community integration experiences.Data included in the high school report showed substantial improvement among students currently enrolled in TSA compared to the previous year.
