Community joins district planning effort
More than 100 community members took part in Excelsior Springs School District’s strategic planning kickoff, launching the next phase of a five-year effort to turn previously approved district goals into detailed action plans.The kickoff followed the Board of Education’s earlier approval of Phase I of the district’s five-year strategic planning process, which was developed through two and a half days of facilitated work involving district leaders, board members, teachers, parents, students and community partners.
