Crystal Lakes alderman candidates share views
Voters will soon choose between three candidates for two seats on the Crystal Lakes Board of Aldermen in the April 7 municipal election.The candidates are incumbent Zac Craig, Michelle P. Jisa and Sherry Warner Smith.The Standard questioned all candidates to give voters insight into their views. Jisa did not respond to calls made to her phone, using a number provided by Ray County Clerk’s Office.Craig, 42, holds a master’s degree and works for the University of Kansas Health System. He previously taught high school for 10 years and has worked in healthcare for eight years. He has lived in Crystal Lakes for just over five years and currently serves on the board after being appointed to fill a vacancy.Smith is a recently retired realtor who has lived in Crystal Lakes for nearly five years.
