Self-defense claim fails to halt Homestead Village murder case
A Homestead Village murder case will move forward after a judge found probable cause despite a defense filing centered on self-defense claims.Glen Michael Stice, 55, is facing two felony charges, including first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the shooting death of Daniel Konrardy, both of Homestead Village.According to the complaint filed by Ray County Prosecuting Attorney Camille Johnston, first-degree murder is a class A felony punishable by a minimum of 10 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and up to 30 years or life imprisonment.Stice recently appeared before Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Lori Jeanette Baskins for a preliminary hearing after his defense attorney, Sheena Foye, filed a brief arguing he acted in self-defense and requesting dismissal ofthe case.In the filing, the defense argued the fatal shooting followed earlier confrontati...
