Relaxed, fun-loving Tigers romp to Senior Night win
On April 23, Excelsior Springs honored its senior varsity baseball players.Some of the honorees responded to the recognition by cranking out hits to help the Tigers cruise to a 7-1 win over Belton.Kaelan Bedford, Cooper Collins, Henry Crowley, Conor Eich, Cruz Lloyd, Brody Querry, Cameron Rumore and Carter Smith were the seniors who were honored during a pregame ceremony. Members of that group accounted for seven of Excelsior Springs’ nine hits.Collins – who plans to wrestle at Morningside University in Sioux City, Iowa, after graduating high school this month – led the way by going 3-for-4, with four RBIs and three runs scored.
