Excelsior Springs woman sentenced in child exploitation case
An Excelsior Springs woman was sentenced to 16 years in prison after reaching a plea agreement in a Platte County child exploitation case.Rachelle Y. Frogge, 48, recently pleaded guilty before Sixth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Myles A. Perry to eight felonies, including two counts of enticement or attempted enticement of a child, one count of sexual exploitation of a minor child and five counts of promoting child pornography in the first degree.Prosecutors dismissed two counts of second-degree sexual trafficking of a child as part of the plea agreement. Frogge received concurrent prison sentences of 16 years and 15 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.The case began on April 17, 2024, when Frogge was arrested on a warrant and charged with one count of felony first-degree promoting child pornography.
