Landon Biermann and his Excelsior Springs teammates were looking to keep their varsity boys golf season going Wednesday.The Tigers began their postseason that day by playing in the Class 3 District 4 Tournament at Shirkey Golf Course in Richmond, hoping to qualify for state. The Tigers also played there May 2 in the Richmond Invitational, finishing sixth in the team standings by shooting a 349 – seven strokes ahead of seventh-place Trenton.Biermann, who graduates this month, led the team by shooting an 81 (+10) for his 18-hole, par-71 round under rainy conditions.
