Recently, Excelsior Springs varsity football coach Jake Danneman and some of his assistants shared some tips with some of their Excelsior Springs Football Association (ESFA) counterparts.Specifically, varsity staff members discussed drills they have their high schoolers practice that they thought might be useful to the ESFA coaches, who lead youth football teams for grades 2-6. The July 10 clinic at the Excelsior Springs Golf Course marked the second year the varsity staff has held a clinic for the ESFA, said Danneman, who’s entering his second year as varsity head coach.
