Shops, boutiques and galleries in downtown Excelsior Springs opened their doors for the annual Spring Open House. Each participating business handed out an Easter egg with every purchase, each containing a sweet surprise. Bohemian Sage Gallery had artwork displayed by 32 local artists. With more than just wall art on display, the gallery promoted weaving and art classes. Knit Ewe Together had their hand-dyed yarn on display, as a bring your own crafts (BYOC) party. “It was a good turnout,” said owner Shawna Stombaugh.
