A Kansas City man has been released from jail, where he was held on robbery charges, after a local judge reduced his bond following the approval of a reduced bond for offenses allegedly committed in Excelsior Springs.Javon T. Baker, 18, recently appeared in Clay County Court with his public defender, Tiffany M. Leuty Winningham.With no objection from the Clay County Prosecutor’s Office, Seventh Judicial Circuit Court Judge Karen L. Krauser approved reducing the bond from $150,000 to $50,000. Baker was secured with GPS monitoring prior to his release. Baker is facing three felony charges, including firstdegree robbery, armed criminal action and resisting or interfering with an arrest for a felony.He will appear next at 1:30 p.m. on July 30.On June 10, the Excelsior Springs Police Department (ESPD) was dispatched to Heartland Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram in Excelsior Springs on a report of an armed robbery....
