With the start of school still weeks away, the Excelsior Springs School District has released its official supply lists for the 2025-26 academic year in hopes of helping families get a head start on back-to-school shopping.The district encouraged families to take advantage of early deals.“We know it’s early July,” the district wrote. “Whether you’re a planner or just love a good sale, school supply lists are now available.”The lists outline required items for students in preschool through high school. While many supplies are consistent across grades, including pencils, notebooks and dry erase markers, each school level has specific needs tailored to classroom expectations.At the Early Childhood Center (ECC), only half-day students are asked to bring supplies, including Play-Doh, Crayola markers, glue, chalk and shaving cream.
