Excelsior Springs residents are being invited to shop all month long without spending a dime as CitySaver Thrift and Liberty Disaster Relief host their third “Month of FREEdom” this year.“We’re putting up our tent in the parking lot for our third this year, ‘Month of FREEdom,’ where everything under the tent will be free until Sept. 26,” said Manager Doug Perry. “It will be filled with clothes, furniture, toys, books, housewares, small appliances and more. It will be there unsupervised and available 24/7, being restocked regularly.”In addition to the tent, the group is offering deeply discounted groceries.“We will also have our Event Center stocked full with discount groceries that are all 25 cents or less,” explained Perry. “That will run until Sept. 4.
