Excelsior Springs will continue to provide ambulance service to portions of eastern Clay County despite rising operational costs and a continuing gap between service expenses and district funding.Council members approved the annual agreement during a recent meeting, allowing the Excelsior Springs Fire Department (ESFD) to continue providing ambulance service to portions of eastern Clay County through the Eastern Clay County Ambulance District.
