Donna Jo Cline, 69, Lawson, Mo., passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013, at the Excelsior Springs Hospital.
Donna was born on July 29, 1943, in Waverly, Mo., the daughter of Elgin Lewis and Bessie Opal (Smith) Dothage. On July 12, 1963, she married Jerry Cline, who survives of the home.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed square dancing and writing, and she also loved to sing. But most of all, Donna loved being with her family and spoiling the grandchildren.
Besides her husband, Jerry, of the home, Donna is survived by two daughters, Valarie Cline and Charles Moore, of Lawson, Mo., and Lisa Small and husband, Robert, of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; two sisters, Deanna Barnes and husband, Danny, of Kearney, Mo., and Debbie Hendsley and husband, Warren, of Kansas City, Mo.; one brother, Jr. and Renee Dothage, Forsythe, Mo.; grandchildren, Joseph Cline, Kimberly Fines, Cierra Cline, Kaleb Travillion and Talia Travillion; and two great-grandchildren, Kollin Cline and Caitlyn Cline.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 27, at the Old Union Christian Union Church in Lawson, Mo. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, at the Polley Funeral Home, Lawson, Mo. Burial will be in the Old Union Cemetery.
The family suggests that any memorial contributions be given to Old Union Christian Union Church.
