Marshall Kellum Jr., 59, Lawson, Mo., died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at the Excelsior Springs Hospital.
Marshall was born on Nov. 29, 1953, in Cheyenne, Wyo., the son of Marshall Lewis Kellum Sr. And Shirley Ann (Hansen) Kellum. He was employed as a conductor for Soo Line Railroad, which is now CP Rail. In 1976, he married his wife of 37 years, Denise (Crutcher) Kellum, who survives of the home.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
In addition to his wife, Denise, of the home, survivors include four children, Jeremy Kellum, Lawson, Marie Andrae, Lawson, Matthew Kellum, Kansas City, and Grace Elizabeth Kellum, of the home; one brother, Don Kellum, Lawson; one sister, Mary Piccuito, Kansas City; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Friday, June 28, at Polley Funeral Home in Lawson, where the family will greet friends after services. Cremation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall Kellum Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
