Raymond Earl Waldron, 65, Marshall, Mo., died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Mr. Waldron was born Sept. 23, 1946, in Ravanna, the son of the late Wilbur Gene Waldron and Caroline Griffin Waldron. He married Susan Constable on Sept. 11, 1968; they later divorced, but remained friends through the years. He had lived in Marshall since 1971, previously living in Princeton. He worked as a forklift operator at Con-Agra in Marshall for more than 20 years, and he also hauled hay during the summers cut wood in the winters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one great-grandson and one brother.
Survivors include one daughter, Yvonne Smith, Independence; two sons, Troy Waldron and Floyd Brown, both of Marshall; one stepdaughter, Yvette Day, Independence; two brothers, Bill Waldron, Spickard, and Gary Waldron, Princeton; two sisters, Phyllis Phillips, Reno, Nev., and Diane Walker, Mercer; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the family’s choice.
