Steven Jones

Steven B. “Burt” Jones, 55 , Kearney, Mo., died Friday, June 8, 2012.

Mr. Jones was born June 3, 1957, in Roosterville, Mo., to Matthew and Doris (King) Jones. He was a life-long construction worker.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include two sons, Troy Jones and Steven Jones Jr.; one daughter, Stephanie Jones; six sisters, Mary Ganley, Donna Murphy, Ruby Moore, Janet Trout, Lisa Moore and Amy Liechti; two brothers, David Jones and Bob Jones;  and five grandchildren.

Cremation. Memorial visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 12, at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney.
