William Masters Jr.

William Arthur Masters Jr., 81, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Shirkey Nursting and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, Mo.

Mr. Masters was born Aug. 8, 1930, to William Arthur Masters and Mabel Brady Masters.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; one sister, Betty Blair; and one brother, Boyd Masters.

Survivors include one daughter, Tammy Sharp, and one son, Billy Thomas Masters, both of Pacific, Mo.; one brother, Bert G. Masters, Stewartsville, Mo.; three sisters, Barbara Westerhouse, Mount Vernon, Mo., Bonnie Kent, New Orleans, La., and Faye Ashcraft, Rogers, Ark.; and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 23, in the chapel at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Richmond. Arrangements are through the Cremation Society of KS & MO.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shirkey’s Hospice and Palliative Care, 804 Wollard Blvd., Richmond, MO 64085.
