Pugh named MVP at All Star Game
Derek Pugh, a 2012 graduate of Excelsior Springs High School was selected to participate in the East West Senior All Star Game at the Missouri Western Baseball Complex in St. Joseph. Pugh was on the East team along with other ball players from Odessa, Kirksville, Blair Oaks, Lutheran Southern and several others. East team won the game 5-1 and Pugh was selected as MVP of the game. His game record was 2-2 with a single and a triple, one walk, one stolen base and two RBI’s. Pugh played both third and second base.
