Traffic Alert: Construction Causes Lane Closures off 69 Highway

CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the northbound and southbound lanes of Cameron Rd. between 69 Highway and Central Ave, beginning 3:00 a.m. Thursday, June 21 and continuing through 3 p.m. Monday, July 2 for new pavement construction work. This will be a 24/7 closure. All work is weather dependent.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
