ESACC prepares for new school year

The Excelsior Springs Area Career Center (ESACC) will be hitting the ground running for the new school year as 10 programs for students and education programs will be offered in Excelsior Springs and surrounding areas. Ben Ruby, Director of ESACC, explained the classes offered for junior and senior high school students are based on market demands. Currently, ESACC offers a range of classes for industrial and engineering technology, health and human services, as well as arts, communications and technology. Students at nine area schools have been given the opportunity to participate at ESACC, including Excelsior Springs, Kearny, Lathrop, Lawson, Liberty, Liberty North, Richmond, Orrick and Polo. Every school receives information in the spring of each year to present to students to determine interest in the classes.
