6th District nominations
Democratic voters will choose their party’s nominee for Missouri’s 6th Congressional District in the Aug. 4 primary election.
The candidates are Matthew Levine, Scot Pondelick and Josh Smead. The winner of the Democratic primary will advance to the Nov. 3 general election. Republican candidates Jim Ingram, Cody Oshel, Nathanael Schultz, Chris Stigall and Nathan Willett are also seeking their party’s nomination, while Andy Maidment is a Libertarian candidate.
Levine is a former teacher in the Park Hill School District and currently works as a Transportation Security Officer at Kansas City International Airport. He said his background in education, public safety and finance has prepared him to serve in Congress.
