Ameren boosts local relief with cooling donation
As scorching summer temperatures settle across Missouri, Ameren Missouri is working to keep local families safe and cool. The company recently donated 15 ENERGY STARcertified window air conditioners to the Excelsior Springs Good Samaritan Center.Energy-efficient units like these typically cost less than a dollar a day to operate, helping customers stay comfortable while managing energy costs.“In preparation for the hot summer weeks ahead, we encourage customers to use their air conditioners to stay safe and protect their health as temperatures soar,” said Mike Edwards of Ameren Missouri.In addition to donating air conditioners, Ameren Missouri offers a variety of energy assistance programs to help customers with high utility bills.
