Ameren Missouri is now providing $25,000 for energy assistance to active-duty military members, veterans and their families and continuing to offer post-military career opportunities in honor of Veterans Day. Ameren Missouri announced that all active-duty military members, veterans, and their families are qualified for additional support to pay their utility bills. Beginning in 2018, Ameren has reserved $25,000 for funding assistance administered through United Way 211 as a part of the Ameren Veterans Fund. According to Ameren, those active-duty military members, veterans, and family members eligible to utilize the additional funding must be without current energy services or have received a disconnect notice for their Ameren Missouri utility bill.
