The Excelsior Springs Municipal Division will be offering an amnesty month during the entire month of January 2023 on active Excelsior Springs Municipal warrants.

The purpose of this program is to provide people with active warrants the opportunity to resolve their charges and to do so without the fear of arrest.

Failure to Appear Charge(s) will be waived and the Excelsior Springs warrant(s) will be withdrawn upon posting a one hundred dollar cash only bond. Your case will then be reset on the docket and your appearance will be required at a future court date to fully dispose of the charge(s).

Anyone with an active Excelsior Springs warrant who would like to take advantage of amnesty month should:: 1. Report to Excelsior Springs Municipal Court office located at 301 S. Main Street, Excelsior Springs, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

2. Bring picture identification. Your driver’s license, state ID, student ID, etc.

3. Post the $100 cash only bond. No debit or credit cards or personal checks. Cash only will be accepted.

4. Appear in court at the date and time specified on the paperwork.

Upon posting bond, the Court will cancel the Excelsior Springs warrant and reset your case on the docket.

Those who have an active warrant and are on a current payment plan through the Excelsior Springs Municipal Court, the $100 cash bond will be directly applied to past due fines and costs and your payment plan will be reinstated.
