Animal Clinic donates pet oxygen masks to ESFD
Excelsior Springs residents who are pet owners can find comfort in knowing their beloved animals will receive improved assistance in the event of a disaster.
The Excelsior Springs Fire Department has received pet oxygen masks, donated by the Excelsior Springs Animal Clinic (ESAC).
“We wanted to help the animal owners in the community by supporting the efforts of fire and rescue professionals,” said ESAC Associate Veterinarian Dr.
Erica Nowlin. “By giving them the right tools, the animals have a better chance of survival.”
The pet oxygen masks are meticulously designed to meet the specific needs of animals. Each kit comprises three different sizes of masks, ensuring their suitability for animals of various sizes, including dogs, cats, ferrets, guinea pigs and even birds.
