The third week of Excelsior Springs’ varsity baseball season left something to be desired, Tigers coach Aaron Holst acknowledged.“We were not very good last week,” Holst stated Monday via email.The Tigers went 1-2 for that week. After cruising past North Kansas City 12-1 in five innings March 31 on the road, they lost to Lee’s Summit West 12-7 April 1 and Park Hill 13-0 in six innings April 2.
