An Excelsior Springs man has been granted a bond modification after being arrested for possession of stolen property in Livingston County.McKalla N. Stevens, 37, was charged with felony receiving stolen property. She recently appeared before 43rd Judicial Circuit Court Judge Michael R. Leamer where she entered a plea of not guilty and requested a bond modification.Leamer agreed to modify Stevens’ original bond of $20,000 cash only, modifying the bond to allow $2,000 bond with conditions to include house arrest, GPS monitoring and supervision services.Stevens appeared again this week, but information was not made available as of press time.On Sept. 30, Livingston County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Michael Claypole responded to a residence on a report of a tractor theft.“Upon arriving at the residence, I met with the reporting person, RP (Reporting Party) 1, and learned an unknown individ...
