Bond restrictions eased in Homestead homicide case

A Homestead Village alderman accused in a deadly neighborhood shooting will now be allowed limited trips outside his residence after the court modified the conditions of his bond.Glen Michael Stice, 55, is facing two felony charges, including first-degree murder and armed criminal action. He recently appeared in Ray County Court for a bond modification hearing before Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Lori Baskins. During that hearing, the court amended his conditions of release, allowing him to leave his residence with pre-approval from a pre-trial supervisor for limited activities, including grocery shopping once per week and walking the family pet once per day within the neighborhood of his home.The hearing came after Stice’s attorney, David Bell, filed a motion requesting the court modify the bond conditions by removing the house arrest requirement while maintaining GPS monitoring and the other restrictions alre...
