CCSO K9 discovers drugs in vehicle hood
A Clay County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) K9 officer successfully outsmarted a suspect by detecting drugs hidden in an unusual location.Last week, CCSO deputies were actively searching for a vehicle that had been involved in an Excelsior Springs burglary. After gathering descriptions and information about the suspect’s vehicle, it was successfully lo- cated in downtown Liberty. The deputies pursued the vehicle until the driver ultimately pulled over in a nearby neighborhood.
