EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Allegedly firing and then pointing a weapon in Excelsior Springs resulted in Kaleb G. McIntosh, 19, Excelsior Springs, facing a felony charge. “Everything turned out well. Nobody was injured,” Capt. Robert Warner reported April 15 to the City Council. Reasons for the incident near an apartment complex in the Westview area are sketchy. “There was some kind of a disturbance. Originally, it came out as a shooting. He did not shoot at the individual. … As I understand it, he fired five rounds in the air and then pointed the gun at our victim,” Police Chief Gregory Dull said Monday. “He never shot at our victim. Obviously, what he did was still unlawful.” The incident occurred around 7:03 p.m. April 14. “We made an arrest shortly after the incident,” Dull said.
