City advances infrastructure, development items
Excelsior Springs officials approved a series of infrastructure, development and administrative actions that will affect multiple areas of city operations, ranging from the demolition of a deteriorating structure to changes in zoning review fees and long-term lease agreements.Those actions were taken during a recent city council meeting, where members moved through several ordinances, resolutions and reports addressing ongoing city projects and routine governance.One of the more visible actions involved the planned demolition of the former Roosevelt High School press box, which officials determined poses an ongoing safety concern.
